Sixth Mass Extinction Could Bring The Doomsday Soon, One Scientist Believes

Doomsday could come soon upon us, according to new scientists. The so-called sixth mass extinction threats us now more than ever. What will the future hold for us, and how can we understand something like this without panicking? Let’s find out!

Recently, the thought of the end of the world is on the mind of scientists, more and more. Professor Katrin Meissner seems to know more about this fact and talked about it in anew documentary. It is believed that the sixth mass extinction, which would take the form of the biotic crisis, is highly spreading, decreasing the biodiversity on Earth. A thing like would bring changes in the multitude of multicellular organisms.

Besides that, many biologists think, as well, that this is indeed a fact. They also explained other significant happenings, the existence of five mass extinctions in history, one of them, probably the best known, occurred almost 60 million years ago, and it involved dinosaurs.

We are already in the sixth mass extinction phase

Further explanations are offered to us by Professor Katrin Meissner from the Climate Change in Australia, who stated that we are now in the sixth mass extinction phase, and the fact that is too late to do something, and that’s an unfortunate thing.

She did a full coverage about this fact on an Amazon Prime series, ‘The Next Great Extinction Event,’ last year. Meissner declared that for us, people, it’s hard to understand, and we are now in a vulnerable condition. She added that we all hinge on just a few parts, areas that make most of our food.

Professor Meissner stated that it might exist a possibility to slow down this sixth mass extinction, but the fact that it is too late, it won’t really matter completely what we will decide to do.
