Elon Musk Says That There’s a 70% Chance He’ll Be Personally Traveling To Mars

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk just said that there’s a 70% probability that he will also be traveling to mars when the time comes. He told Axios’ new program on HBO that he believes that Mars exploration is more than just a fantasy dreamed be someone rich to wants to use space travel as an “escape hatch.”

“Your probability of dying on Mars is much higher than earth,” he told Axios’, Mike Allen. “It’s gonna be hard. There’s a good chance of death, going in a little (sic) can through deep space.”

“We think you can come back, but we’re not sure. Now, does that sound like an escape hatch for rich people?”

He said that flying to Mars would definitely be hard but landing on it could trigger even more dangers and challenges.

He said that if you land successfully, you would have to work non stop to build the base so this means that there wouldn’t be time for leisure.

He explained “it’s a very harsh environment. So … there’s a good chance you die there.”

Musk would travel to Mars without hesitation

On the other hand, Musk said that the massive advancements in technology might allow for a flight toMars as soon as in seven years and a ticket could be about a couple of hundred thousand dollars.

Despite all the risks involved, Musk said that he would go up without any hesitation.

He is known for speaking about colonizing planet Mars with the help of its SpaceX company, and he also voiced his idea about a potential backup plan on Mars for humanity just in case Earth eventually becomes an uninhabitable wasteland.

Last week, we reported that NASA’s latest safety review for the SpaceX seems targeted at the bad boy Elon Musk. Why? Well, because it flaunts a powerful no alcohol, no drugs policy.
